Live Help · On Clubhouse
During the pandemic, Sophia May opened a space on Clubhouse for people to talk, listen and support one another. That human connection became the beginning of Mendable. The conversation continues today.

Where Mendable began
When the pandemic separated people from everyday company, Sophia created a place where connection could still happen. On Clubhouse, people could join a live conversation, share what they were carrying and hear from others with experiences of their own.
Men’s mental health was at the heart of those early conversations. The room offered somewhere to begin talking about things that can be difficult to say out loud. People who had never met found common ground through their stories.
Mendable grew from those conversations. In the community’s written accounts, people describe being welcomed, listened to and finding a sense of family. Today, that beginning remains part of who we are: making time for people, and making room for their voices.
The live Clubhouse conversations continue twice a week. Whether you have something to share or would like to start by listening, you’re invited to join us.

Your first conversation

You don’t need to arrive with a story prepared. Listen to the conversation and take your time getting to know the space.
Follow the host’s guidance if you would like to speak. Give others the same time, attention and respect you would want for yourself.
Every story begins with a person.
